Alright, like it or not, you've become a bicycle-related-helper, for me! I've decided to get new brake levers - some that will run flush with my handlebars, instead of the cables going all over the place. Anything in particular I need to look for in browsing the various options? Certain brand preferences? This bike is mostly a commuter bike, so I don't necessarily need the *best* - but I'd like to have a good set. Congratulations on showing yourself as someone knowledgeable, for me to bother. Ha
Haha no worries! I use campy on my road bikes, therefore am used to/like their lever shape. I like the Cane Creek levers for my single speed ‘cross, as the lever shape is similar. These jams:
If your LBS doesn’t have them in stock, ask them to order them for you. I believe in supporting local owned bike shops vs. ordering online. You create relationships with the people working there, or even the mechanic, and they’ll hook you up and help you out. Hope thats what you were looking for!
